Get ready for the Summer season and join us at Ocean Vertical for our annual Water Safety Lecture. The evening is an opportunity to learn or refresh water safety skills for those planning on venturing out in blue spaces this summer for paddle boarding, wild swimming, kayaking, surfing and more.

The evening will be introduced by Ocean Vertical Director and record-breaking adventurer Mollie Hughes and the lecture will be delivered by Ocean Vertical's Co-founder and Head of Adventure, Stevie Boyle.

Stevie is an outdoor instructor with over 25 years’ experience guiding clients on ocean and mountain adventures across Scotland and beyond. Stevie is an Academy of Surf Instructors (ASI) paddle boarding instructor trainer and a National Coasteering Charter (NCC) guide trainer with a passion for protecting the ocean environment.

The evening will be tailored towards beginner and intermediate water sport enthusiasts and we aim to build your confidence and knowledge using a simple three step process. The lecture will enable attendees to gain essential knowledge and understanding to make better decisions as independent water users.
