Our 11yr old son had a full day summer adventure camp, paddleboarding, archery, coasteering, he had a great time, proper outdoors fun & action packed activities, great guides & crew, awesome set up at the base. Enjoyed the photos being sent to us, good memories.

Had an amazing first ever surf lesson with Ocean Vertical. The guys were brilliant. From arrival to getting in the water. Felt really at ease even though I had never done this before. Hours of fun. One of the best things I have done. I will be back for more.

OV ran an archery session for our Scout group this weekend. They provided good quality equipment and excellent instruction for the kids, helping them learn and have fun at the same time. We all had a great afternoon, Thanks!

Visiting Scotland and finding myself with a free day and needing a quick mountain fix, Ocean Vertical arranged a 15 km Scottish winter mountaineering experience to Stob Ghabhar by the Little Aonach Eagach for me in typical Fall / winter conditions, lots of grey swirling cloud giving epic glimpses of Rannoch Moor and the Glen Coe mountains.

Highly professional with lots of advice and crucially encouragement; and they got me there and back from Edinburgh. I’d definitively use Ocean Vertical for my next fix when I visit Scotland again; inordinately recommended!

Very enjoyable, we really enjoyed seeing the coastline from another perspective Coasteering in East Lothian, as well as meeting some of the local sea faring residents (sea urchins, starfish and seals). The session was great fun mixed with a good kick of adrenaline; Stevie is a skilled and experienced guide and we felt safe and informed throughout our experience.Thanks Ocean Vertical!

Our team of 20 had a fantastic corporate activity day at Ocean Vertical! The selection of activities offered to the team suited both the thrill seekers and those in need of some R&R. Staff were amazing, the location was stunning in East Lothian, and the food, BBQ and drinks in the evening were just fantastic. A good time was had by all – Thank you Ocean Vertical!

We had an amazing day out coasteering with friends. Our guide was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The kit provided was well fitted and kept us warm and safe from the elements. While it was a physically exerting activity, I would highly recommend this for anybody, as at no point did we feel unsafe, and I cannot think of a better way to experience the wild coast line of Scotland!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Winter Hillwalking Experience with Ocean Vertical. After a few days of snow had fallen in the Highlands we booked at pretty short notice and had a brilliant day on Stob a’Choire Odhair with Stevie. Conditions – and Stevie’s choice of mountain given the mixed forecast – were perfect. We learnt a huge amount about being in the mountains in winter (planning, decision-making, use of equipment) and had a whole lot of fun in the process. The smiles at the summit said it all!

Stevie took the time to find out what we all wanted from the day and managed the different levels in our group really well, giving just the right level of support and encouragement to the less confident (me!) as well as the right level of challenge to the more confident. Communication before the day was excellent and the pick up and drop off service was great; it means you arrive at the hill fresh (and can snooze on the way home after the day’s adventures… )

We’re looking forward to our next OV trip!

OV recently hosted a corporate away day for over 45 of our employees, we done a mixture of yoga, archery & arch throwing, cycling along the coast and it was just brilliant! We also enjoyed lots of great food on the day, everyone said how delicious everything was. Overall, the day was brilliant and I couldn’t recommend the OV team and facilities more.
